Giuliana Cunéaz starts from observations with the electron microscope, fundamental to her investigation. Here we have an artist engaged in the continuous search for the beyond. Her striving is towards the possibilities of observation of what the human eye cannot see, but which actually exists. It is the investigation of what lies beyond appearance, which constitutes form: particles, nanotechnologies voids and solids as in Oriental philosophies. It is the poetry of discovery. The artist is attracted by an inverse landscape that from the macro reaches to the microcosm in a dimension where science, art and poetry find a balanced meeting point.
